We tried to go to see The Fresh Beat Band concert in April but we didn't get tickets soon enough and they were sold out. As soon as they announced their next tour dates we bought tickets. The concert was in Raleigh and it was outside. Unfortunately it rained all day on Saturday. We got very wet but we still had fun! Thankfully it only rained hard once while we were at the concert. The rest of the time it was mostly light rain with a brief period on no rain. As soon as we got in the car the bottom fell out. We were very happy to be in the car at this point. Jeff felt sorry for the crew taking the show down...he's been in their shoes more than once:).

She was less than happy about the rain but once the show started she was having such a good time she didn't care about the rain!
Toward the end of the concert they threw out giant beach balls into the crowd. None of the balls ever came to us so Emily decided that we needed to chase one down when the show was over. My girl was serious about getting to one of those balls. Other kids had the same idea and I was afraid someone was going to get hurt. Finally security came and took the ball away! Emily did get to touch it but not throw it because a bunch of kids were fighting over it. I didn't get any pictures because I was trying to help in the situation but it was hilarious! We had a great time! It was a great concert! Their music is fun for kids but most parents like it too!
