Happy New Year!

We promised Emily she could wake up to count down the real New Years Eve with us.  I told her I would wake her up at 11:30.  She woke up at 11:20 all by herself ready to party.

New Years Eve Celebration Part 2

After we got home from the Noon Years Eve Tea Party, Emily set up a celebration for us and her American Girl Dolls complete with a cookie clock cake and sparkling juice.

We were invited to a lovely Noon Years Eve Tea Party on New Years Eve!  The kids had so much fun!

Loosing Teeth Left and Right

The Tooth Fairy has come to our house three times in one month.  Two of those nights we had both the Tooth Fairy and our Elf coming and going.  Lots of magic around here for sure.

 She FINALLY lost her other front tooth.  It had been loose since October!

The Adventures of Twinkle (Our Elf On The Shelf)

Emily had so much fun with Twinkle this holiday season.  The only problem was she woke up really early every morning to find Twinkle.  I tried to take a picture each day to document her time with us this Christmas!  Twinkle had some new clothes, a head band and she even got her earrings this year.  She had some cool surprises for Emily too.


Day 1- Twinkle brought a special North Pole Breakfast and a surprise.

Day 3- The day of our Nutcracker Tea

Day 4- The Tooth Fairy also came that night.  We found her tooth certificate in her stocking with Twinkly close by.

Day 5- Twinkle had a candy cane hunt planned.

Day 8- The Tooth Fairy came again and she gave Twinkle a tooth brush for Emily.

Day 9- Twinkle brought special PJs.

Day 15- Twinkle brought her stocking.

Day 16- Twinkle was caught trying to eat a cookie.

A few days before Christmas we found this note from Twinkle.

Every morning until Christmas, Emily checked her stocking to see what Twinkle had been up to.  This is what she found.

On Christmas Eve Emily said good-bye to Twinkle.  We had a lot of fun with her this year.
