She organized her first event for just us. She had lots of gifts for kids that she had collected over time. We brought 5 or 6 gifts we had found on clearance. We wrapped them up and drove around the city handing them out to children at parks and local shopping centers.
It was so much fun. People honestly didn't know how to react, but many were very touched. One mom even thanked us in tear. It was a good lesson to the girls about Christmas and giving to others.
