Here is Emily sitting in her 5 point harness car seat for the last time. She has been in this seat since October 1, 2008, she was a few days shy of 14 months old. This seat (and the one in Jeff's truck) served us well for 3 years and 4 months but it was time to say good-bye!
Right after Emily was officially 4 and a half we decided to move her up to a big girl booster seat. It was getting really difficult to buckle her up when she was wearing a coat and she was complaining about her seat being uncomfortable. Check out our big girl now!!!
She is much more comfortable in this seat. She has built in cup holders on both sides that can be pulled out or pushed in. She typically keeps her shades in one and a drink in the other. This is exciting because her other cup holders would never stay on. We like this seat because it has some extra safety features that many booster seats don't have. She can get out by herself but she still needs help getting buckled up. She gets confused because the shoulder strap goes over her right shoulder in Jeff's truck and it goes over her left shoulder in my car. Overall, we are all happy with the change. It is just one more thing that reminds me that she is growing up much too quickly!
