Emily wanted to head straight to the silos of corn. She loves playing in the corn and there is LOTS of corn to play in!!!
Then there were hay stacks to climb and tunnels to play in.
Next we headed over to the cow train ride pulled by a tractor. The tractor rides around in the open field and then through part of the corn maze. Last year Emily wouldn't ride by herself. This year she made sure we knew that she wanted to ride all by herself.
Then we ate a picnic lunch and Emily played for a while.
We went on a hay ride in a train.
We walked the mini corn maze like we did last year and then decided to do the real corn maze. It was fun! It was about a 1.6 miles and we walked for just under 30 minutes. Emily enjoyed trying to guess which way to go.
At the end we came to a bridge and it gave you a cool view of the corn fields we had been traveling in. Here's Emily checking out the view.
After the corn maze we saw some old tractors and we just had to see how we looked in the driver's seat.
They had a cute little pumpkin patch where Emily picked out three little pumpkins.
The farm was so much fun but we weren't finished yet. Next we headed over to a church pumpkin patch that we have taken Emily to each year since she was 2 months old.
They had the pictures that you can stick your head through like the Farmer's Market and Emily ran right to them.

The pumpkin hunting continued and we found a big pumpkin we just had to have.
Here is the collection of pumpkins we came home with today.
Emily picked out one pumpkin specifically to paint so we weren't home long before we got out the paints.
We played outside for a while after she finished painting and then Emily had a short rest time in her room. Then we ordered pizza and made some Halloween cookies. We had a great day!
