6 Years Old

Our girl turned six on Saturday!  I can't believe we have a six year old.  How did that happen? 

  It was exciting to have her birthday party on her birthday this year.  We had a fabulous Fairy tale art/Princess Sofia The First Party in the morning.  Our amazing friend/photographer, Peggy, took pictures.  When we get them back I will post about the party.  By the way, do you like the purple six?  Jeff made it and painted it for Emily.  I love it!

For her birthday, Jeff and I gave Emily a Sofia The First dress, tiara, necklace   (amulet).  Emily's grandmother gave her the Sofia shoes pictured above.

 Jeff and I also gave her tickets to see the Disney Jr. Live Tour in town for only one day...her birthday! How perfect that a Sofia The First Show comes into town on her birthday and she is having a Sofia The First Party!   She was so excited!  She started jumping up and down cheering when she found out she was going.  We gave her a picture of the promo for the tour in her birthday card at her party.  It was a total surprise.  She was one happy birthday girl!

After Emily's party we came back to the house for lunch with some family and close friends.  We rested for a little while and then it was off for the show.

Doc Mcstuffins was the pre show.  If you remember, she was Doc Mcstuffins for Halloween.

Next was Sofia the First!!!!  It was so wonderful to watch Emily during she show.  She was so excited!  It was a great show.  Emily said it was the best present she had ever gotten.  She hopes she can take her little girl one day...so sweet!

During intermission she met a pirate.

Next was Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

The entire cast at the end.  As you can see, Mickey, Minnie, Cinderella, and Peter Pan were there too.

It was an amazing show and she was on cloud nine the entire time.  She says it was the Best Birthday EVER!!!!!  It was such a special day!
