Art Camp- Week One

One of Emily's teachers and his wife, who is also a kindergarten teacher, do art camps at their house every summer.  They have turned their basement into an art studio.  It was such a fabulous camp.  They did so many amazing things.  They learned about different artists and art forms.  They listened to a different kind of music each day and did a sketch about how it made them feel.

She got an art bag filled with supplies that she got to decorate.

She came home every day covered in paint and happy!

The last day of camp they met at a local art gallery for a tour.  Then they walked to a local ice cream shop for a yummy ice cream treat.  Here is Emily, her teacher, and a friend eating their ice cream.  Chocolate Chip Mint is the best!!!!

She came home with lots of cool art from the week.
