Back To School Bash

Thursday morning Emily had a special tea at her school. They bring them in small groups to the classroom for "tea" (lemonade) and cookies.  Emily is in a K-1 class so she will be in the same classroom with the same teachers as last year.  This is wonderful because her teachers are so amazing. 

 The tea is mainly for the kindergarten children to see their new classroom and meet their teachers and a few children.  The first graders are invited to help introduce the new children to the classroom that they are already so familiar with.  That night was open house.  It was a lot of fun but I was busy with PTA stuff so I didn't get any pictures of open house.  The parents were not invited to the tea.  We filled out paper work in the library instead.

Friday night was the Back To School Bash at church.  The children got to go see their new classrooms and then they had lots of fun activities.  Here a few pictures.
