Play Dates

Emily loves having friends over to play, especially in her "new" room.  Last night we had some people that I work with and their families over for a cookout in the evening.  It was a 100 degree day but thankfully our backyard is shaded in the evening so the kids did play outside for a while and then the girls and later the boys ended up in Emily's room.  They played so nicely.  It's great to have enough space for kids to play in Emily's room.  Her other room was so tiny that the kids always ended up in the living room.


A few weeks ago Emily had a last minute play date with a friend who is almost two and a half years younger than Emily.  They played so nicely in Emily's room and then went outside to splash in her pool.  I snapped this picture of them playing in her room.  These girls look like they could be sisters.
