Strawberries Everyday

Two years ago we got a strawberry plant as a favor at a Strawberry Short Cake birthday party.  We planted it and added some more.  We've gotten a few strawberries each year, maybe 10 or 15 each spring.  This year the plants are giving us 10-20 strawberries a day!  

Our first ripe strawberries appeared the day that Emily went strawberry picking with her class.

Here is Emily eating a day worth of strawberry picking on Monday.  My fruit loving girl is in heaven.  It looks like our blueberry bush is going to give us lots of blueberries this year too!  Can't wait!
