Candles In The Park

The Girl Scouts in our area do a fundraiser for a local charity in a park called Candlefest.  They light luminaries all over the park and have carolers and places to buy hot chocolate and roasted s'mores.  We went for the first time this year.  The luminaries were beautiful and everywhere.  Of course, it is impossible for me to get good pictures of something like this at night but I tried.

Santa was also there.  We had just seen him that morning.  He came riding in on a carriage pulled by a beautiful white horse, led in by bagpipe players.

Then we got to have a turn riding in the carriage.  I promise Emily was with us.  She is sitting in the middle of us!

After our ride we got to meet the beautiful horse.  Here are Jeff and Emily saying hello.  This horse is a rescued horse.  So sweet!

We had a fun night and a fabulous day!
