When It Felt Like Spring

Wednesday was the first day of spring but it feels like winter around here right now.  However, Saturday, was a warm and beautiful day.  Emily played outside for most of the day with her seven year old neighborhood friend.  She started by playing in the culdesac just down the street from us where her friend lives.  They had lots of fun and then moved to her friend's back yard.  Then they moved to our backyard and eventually ended up playing in Emily's room.  Then we grilled out for dinner.  It was a lovely taste of early spring.
