The Strawberry Farm

Thursday, late afternoon, we headed to a local strawberry farm.  Emily really enjoyed ridding on a tractor up to the field where we were picking.  Emily was a champion picker this year.

Of course she had to sample a few strawberries for quality control.

Two buckets full of yummy strawberries!  Then it we got to ride the tractor back and have some ice cream.


The thing I really like about this farm is that it's not just strawberry picking.  They have animals too.  They have goats, chickens, pigs, honey bees and a cow.  Here's Emily feeding the goats.  She was really afraid to do this but she kept trying and finally did it.

We got to pet the most adorable baby goats. 

Then they had a swing which made Emily very happy.  What a fun afternoon at the strawberry farm!
