Emily's Dance Recital

Sunday Emily had her "Big Show" at the Little Gym.  Emily was so excited to get ready.  She got to wear a little blush and lip gloss, body glitter gel and glitter hair spray.  She looked beautiful and did a great job.  They had the option to buy a tutu (3 colors to choose from) and the moms decided that we would all wear black leotards to be more uniform.  One little girl stepped outside the box and did her own thing which was fine, it is very casual at these Big Shows and the girls are encouraged to dress however they want to dress.  They were all adorable and they did a great job.  They did tap, ballet and then a beam and bar routine.  We were so proud of Emily.  She was fabulous!

At the end they had an awards ceremony.  Everyone got a ribbon!

It's hard to believe that Emily was only 22 months old when she started classes at The Little Gym.  She took a summer class and then had her 2nd birthday party there and then we continued from there.  We have loved every minute of our time at The Little Gym.
