Pumpkin Seeds

Last year when we carved our pumpkin we roasted some of the pumpkin seeds.  No one really liked them too much so this year we decided to try to do some art with our the seeds instead.  We cleaned the seeds, and then we dyed them, like Easter eggs.  They soaked in the food coloring, water and vinegar for about 24 hours so it took much longer to dye than Easter eggs. Some seeds were colored completely while some were only spotted with color and I'm not quite sure why.  At any rate, we had fun doing it.  Then we let them dry and glued them to decorate some pictures.
